Experience a dahi sandwich recipe where thick, hung yoghurt meets crisp carrots, cucumber, and bell peppers, lightly spiced with chaat masala and cumin. Every bite balances creamy curd with fresh crunch, making it a satisfying Indian snack or light meal.

Ingredients

6 bread slices ½ cup thick curd (hung curd preferred) ¼ cup grated carrot ¼ cup finely chopped cucumber 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum Salt and black pepper to taste ½ tsp chaat masala Butter or ghee for toasting (optional)

Step 1

In a bowl, whisk curd until smooth.

Step 2

Add grated carrot, cucumber, capsicum, salt, pepper, and chaat masala. Mix well.

Step 3

Spread the mixture evenly on bread slices and cover with another slice.

Step 4

Toast on a pan with butter until golden, or serve as is for a chilled version.
