Cucumber pickle is one such condiment that you can enjoy during the summer season for its refreshing flavour and crunch. It requires staple pantry ingredients and you can make them in no time, so here's a quick recipe for you to try:
2 large, thinly sliced cucumbers 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup of water 1/4 cup sugar 1 tablespoon salt 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns 2 minced garlic
Slice 2 large cucumbers thinly.
Combine white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, and minced garlic in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Place the cucumber slices in a jar.
Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumbers, ensuring they are submerged.
Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for 24 hours.
