What makes a chocolate cake irresistible? It’s the glaze of chocolate ganache. The silky coating over the cake is what makes the dessert delicious and mouth-watering. Here is how to make it at home, even if you are a beginner.
1 cup heavy cream 120g semi-sweet chocolate bars
Chop the chocolate bar into small pieces and add it to a heat-proof bowl.
Put the bowl over a pot of boiling water.
Stir the chocolate with a metal spoon to ensure the chocolate melts well.
Quickly blend the chocolate with heavy cream to make a smooth blend.
Refrigerate the ganache for a couple of hours to set it.
Stuff the filling inside the cake or glaze the dessert with it.
