Cheesecake is the new favourite global dessert for the right reasons. To get the crumbly crust and a rich and creamy cafe-like filling, follow this recipe and make the mouth-melting dessert at home.
For the Crust: 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs ¼ cup granulated sugar ¼ cup butter, melted For the Filling: 3 cups cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar ½ cup sour cream 3 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon lemon juice ¼ teaspoon salt
Prepare the crust by mixing cookie crumbs, butter, and sugar. Bake for 5-10 minutes.
Make the filling by beating cream cheese, sugar, and eggs with a blender.
Mix in heavy cream and lemon juice till you get a uniform filling.
Pour the filling on the baked crust and bake the cheesecake for about an hour.
Let it cool, and then refrigerate for at least four hours. Garnish with toppings and serve.
