Easter is here, and if you are looking for a fun treat to pair with your easter meals, these rice krispies are a must-try.
½ cup salted butter ½ tsp vanilla extract 1 ¼ cup mini marshmallows 5 cups rice krispies 1 ¼ cup white chocolate chips Coloured sprinkles, as needed
Coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
In a large Dutch oven pot or heavy-bottomed pan, melt the butter over low heat.
It will gradually turn brown. Add the vanilla and marshmallows right away and mix until the marshmallows are melted.
Remove from heat. Stir in the rice krispies and mix thoroughly. Fill the 9x13 pan with the mixture and evenly distribute it.
Cool for one hour. Cut them into Easter egg shapes with an Easter egg cookie cutter. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Melt the white chocolate chips and divide into 2 bowls. Add sprinkles over the drizzled white chocolate and let it set. Serve!
