Easter festivities are incomplete without a grand dinner to close off the holiday. The third course of this dinner typically comprises numerous sweet treats, such as sweet potato pie and lemon tart. Banana pudding is another creamy and easy-to-make Easter special dessert. Explore a simple homemade banana pudding recipe.
3 beaten eggs 2 sliced and peeled bananas ½ package vanilla wafer cookies 2 cups milk 2/3 cup white sugar 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons softened butter ¼ teaspoon salt
In a pan, mix sugar, flour, and salt. Introduce eggs and stir the mixture thoroughly. Add milk and let it cook over low heat, stirring the mixture continuously.
When the mixture becomes dense enough to cover a metal spoon, take off the heat and continue stirring. When the mixture has cooled a bit, add milk and butter.
In a serving dish, layer the pudding with bananas and vanilla wafers. Refrigerate it for about 60 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
