Dosa spring roll is a creative snack made by rolling spiced vegetables inside thin dosa sheets. It combines the crispiness of a roll with the flavour of South Indian dosa, making it a unique option for tea-time or light meals.
2 cups dosa batter (fermented) 1 cup cabbage (shredded) ½ cup carrot (julienned) ½ cup capsicum (sliced) 1 onion (sliced) 2 green chillies (chopped) 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp vinegar Salt to taste Black pepper to taste Oil for shallow frying
Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion, green chilli, and ginger-garlic paste. Add carrot, cabbage, and capsicum.
Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until vegetables are slightly soft.
Make thin dosas on a hot tawa. Place vegetable filling inside each dosa and roll tightly.
Shallow fry the rolls until golden and crisp.
Cut into halves and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
