On a cold winter night, all you need is something warm and comforting. And what’s better than a warm bowl of seviya? Simmered to perfection and garnished with nuts, here’s how to make the rich dessert.
1/2 cup vermicelli 2 cups milk Sugar to taste 2 tablespoons ghee A pinch of cardamom powder Chopped dry fruits for garnishing
Heat some ghee and roast vermicelli till golden brown.
In another pan, heat some milk. Let it boil and then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the roasted vermicelli and sugar to the milk. Cook till the sugar dissolves.
Mix in a pinch of cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
