Beginning your day with a healthy breakfast can set the tone for the entire day by keeping energy and overall nutrition in place. These simple recipes are easy to make, have a perfect balance of protein and fibre, and are perfect for busy mornings when you want something wholesome.
Cook ½ cup oats with 1 cup milk or water for about five minutes. Add one sliced banana and a teaspoon of honey, with a pinch of cinnamon to make a warm, filling breakfast.
Cook the soaked poha with some mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, peas, and basic spices. In the end, add lemon juice and coriander to make a light yet satisfying breakfast.
Mash ½ ripe avocado with some salt, pepper, and some lemon juice. Spread this over the toasted whole wheat bread and add some chilli flakes for a creamy, filling breakfast.
In a cup of Greek yoghurt, add some chopped apple, berries, and 1 tablespoon of granola. From the top, drizzle some honey for a breakfast that has natural sweetness.
Make a batter of gram flour with water, chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander, and basic spices. Cook to make thin chilla in a pan with a little oil for a protein-rich breakfast.
Spread a tablespoon of peanut butter on whole wheat bread, add banana slices, and close to make a sandwich. This quick breakfast offers healthy fats and long-lasting energy.
