Pistachio barfi is a delicate Indian sweet made with milk powder, ghee, and crushed pistachios. It’s creamy, nutty, and perfect for gifting during Diwali.
1 cup milk powder ½ cup sugar ½ cup milk 2 tbsp ghee ¼ cup pistachios (crushed) ½ tsp cardamom powder
Heat ghee and milk in a non-stick pan, then add milk powder and mix until smooth.
Add sugar and stir continuously until the mixture thickens.
Mix in cardamom and pistachios, and cook until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Spread evenly in a greased tray, cool, and cut into square or diamond-shaped pieces.
