A variation of infused waters that are all the rage currently—detox water is said to possess multiple health benefits beyond hydrating the body adequately. Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it great to consume as a way to encourage digestion as well as balance pH levels to promote wellness.
1 litre water 6-7 sprigs fresh mint 1 cucumber, sliced 5-6 slices lemon 2 slices fresh ginger
Pour the water into a jug and add the cucumber, lemon and ginger slices to it.
Add the fresh mint sprigs and let the jug sit for an hour at room temperature or in the refrigerator if infusing for longer.
Strain and sip throughout the day.
