Juicy and saucy, the hot dog is a delicious snack which is famous worldwide. The snack is served widely at parties and small get-togethers. It is made with your preferred meat or veggies, whichever you like the most. An Indian twist to this recipe includes a lot of spices and chutneys, perfect for a quick snack!
4 hot dog buns An oven grill ½ cup chopped beet roots ½ cup chopped carrots ½ cup chopped cucumbers ½ cup chopped onions 1/4 cup of feta crumbles English mustard sauce, as needed 1-2 lettuce leaves Mayonise, as needed
Shredded meat of your choice 1 tomato, finely chopped 1–2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala Salt to taste Butter or oil Green chutney Tomato ketchup
In a pan with heated oil or butter, sauté chopped green chillies with ginger-garlic paste.
Cook the capsicum and onions until they are just beginning to soften.
Add tomatoes, garam masala, salt, and red chilli powder; simmer until the masala becomes saucy.
Toss thoroughly for two to three minutes after adding the sausages or shredded spiced meat.
On a tawa, lightly toast the hot dog buns with butter.
Inside the buns, spread chutneys (mayo, ketchup, or green chutney).
Pour in the heated masala mixture, top with chaat masala, and serve hot.
