Golden, crunchy bites of gram flour come alive in this ram laddu recipe, perfectly spiced, deep-fried, and packed with chatpata flavours, delivering irresistible desi street-style crunch that makes every bite a festival of taste and fun.
1 cup besan 2 tbsp rice flour ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds) ½ tsp salt 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander Water as needed (to make thick batter) Oil for deep frying
Mix besan, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric, ajwain, salt, and chopped coriander in a bowl and add water gradually to form a thick batter.
Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame until a drop of batter sizzles immediately.
Drop small spoonfuls of the batter into hot oil carefully, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Fry the laddus, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crisp on all sides.
Remove and drain on paper towels, then serve hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney for that perfect street-snack flavour.
