Spicy chana paired with buttery kulchas creates the kind of street-style meal that instantly feels filling and addictive. Tangy masala, soft chickpeas, crunchy onions, and warm kulchas together make every bite packed with flavour.
For Chana 2 cups boiled chickpeas 1 finely chopped onion 2 chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1 tsp chana masala ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste Fresh coriander for garnish For Serving 4 kulchas Butter as needed Chopped onion and lemon wedges
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden before adding ginger garlic paste.
Add tomatoes, turmeric, chilli powder, salt, and chana masala and cook until thick.
Mix in boiled chickpeas and simmer for 5 minutes so the masala coats well.
Toast kulchas with butter on a hot tawa until lightly crisp.
Serve hot chana with buttery kulchas, onions, coriander, and lemon wedges.
