Creamy, cooling and gently spiced, this dahi tadka recipe pairs thick curd with a sizzling tempering of spices, making it perfect alongside rice, parathas or a spicy Indian meal.
2 cups thick dahi (curd) 2 tbsp oil or ghee 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 dry red chilli 8-10 curry leaves ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Whisk the dahi until it turns smooth, then mix it with salt and chilli powder.
Heat oil or ghee in a small pan.
Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add red chilli and curry leaves, fry briefly.
Pour hot tadka over dahi, garnish with coriander and serve.
