Dahi Papdi Bhalla Chaat: Classic Punjabi Recipe For Snacking

Dahi papdi bhalla chaat is a refreshing and healthy snack. The bhallas made with urad dal are served with a serving of dahi and crispy papdis. Add pomegranate seeds, sev, and imli chutney on top and serve.

Ingredients

1 cup urad dal 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds Pinch of salt Oil for frying 2 cups dahi 4 cups water Papdi as required 1 tablespoon green chutney 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds Chopped cilantro for garnish

Step 1

Soak the urad dal and blend it with cumin seeds, ginger paste, and salt.

Step 2

Deep fry small portions of the batter to make the bhallas and soak them in water.

Step 3

Whisk dahi and water together and add the soaked bhallas to it, removing the extra water.

Step 4

Add papdi, green and tamarind chutney with the spices and mix all the contents.

Step 5

Garnish with pomegranate seeds and cilantro, and your Punjabi snack will be ready.
