Have you ever tasted curry leaves chutney? It is tangy, earthy, delicious, and no, it does taste bitter. Once you make it, this will be your new favourite condiment, loaded with many essential nutrients. Follow this guide to replicate the recipe at home.
1 tsp urad dal 6 cups fresh curry leaves A small tamarind piece ½ cup grated coconut 2 garlic cloves 1 green chilli ½ cup chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp oil ⅛ tsp hing Salt to taste 2 dry red chillies
Wash the curry leaves thoroughly and keep them aside.
Saute urad dal in oil and add green and red chillies to the pan.
Add garlic and curry leaves. Sauté until leaves are wilted.
Turn off the heat and mix tamarind, coconut, salt, and coriander leaves.
Blitz the mixture in a food processor.
Enjoy this chutney with rice and sandwiches.
