The evening hour when your body craves a refreshing cup of tea or coffee is incomplete without a crunchy snack to dunk into the cup. Instead of the processed cookies, try this authentic nankhatai recipe.
1.25 cups maida 2 tablespoons sooji ½ cup sugar ½ cup ghee ¼ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon cardamom powder 2 teaspoons chopped nuts A few rose petals for garnishing
Mix maida and sooji together. Set aside.
Mix powdered sugar and ghee. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Add the flour and knead a smooth dough.
Take small portions, roll them into balls and gently press them down with a fork.
Top with chopped nuts and rose petals. Bake for about 15 minutes and serve.
