If you’re a home baker who loves to add fruit to batters and dough, this apple cake recipe is just for you. Maximising the crunch and sweetness of apples, here’s how to make the crumbly and fruity cake.
2.5 cups maida 1 cup oil 1.5 cups powdered sugar 3 cups chopped apples 1 cup apple purée 4 eggs 2 tsp baking powder ¾ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla extract
Whisk maida, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Set aside.
Mix oil, apple puree, powdered sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract till smooth.
Gently mix the dry and wet ingredients. Preheat the oven.
Fold the chopped apples into the batter. Bake for about 45 minutes.
Slice it up, pair it with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy.
