Flaky layers crack open to reveal a warm, spiced potato filling that’s slightly tangy and peppery. Fresh from the oven, these patties feel buttery outside and soft inside, like your favourite bakery snack.
2 sheets of puff pastry 2 boiled and mashed potatoes 1 finely chopped onion 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp chopped green chilli ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste 2 tbsp coriander leaves
Heat oil and sauté onion, ginger, and chilli until lightly golden and fragrant.
Add mashed potatoes, spices, salt, and coriander, cooking until the mixture dries slightly.
Roll puff pastry, cut into rectangles, and place filling in the centre.
Fold and seal edges, then place on a baking tray and brush lightly with milk.
Bake at 200°C until puffed and golden with crisp, flaky layers.
