Chilla is a nutritious Indian snack that can be made with a variety of ingredients. From besan to dal to even sprouts, you can make yourself a crispy chilla for a healthy snack or breakfast in just 4 steps.
1 cup mixed sprouts 1/4 cup besan 1/4 cup sooji 1/4 cup water 1-2 green chillies 1/2 inch ginger 2 tbsp fresh coriander 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Blend sprouts, water, chillies, and ginger into a paste.
Add besan, sooji, cumin, haldi, and salt. Add a little water and make a smooth batter.
Stir in coriander leaves. Heat a pan and cook a ladleful of batter into a crispy chilla.
Drizzle some oil and cook for 2-3 minutes till golden brown. Serve with dahi and chutney.
