Crispy Sabudana Tikki: 10-Minute Recipe For A Vrat-Friendly Breakfast

Sabudana is a quintessential fasting ingredient that is used to make both savoury and sweet dishes. For a quick breakfast option, try this sabudana tikki recipe and enjoy the crispy cutlets with a chutney.

Ingredients

1 cup sabudana 2 boiled potatoes 1/2 cup roasted peanuts 2-3 green chillies 1 inch of ginger 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1 teaspoon cumin seeds Rock salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Rinse and soak sabudana till soft. Drain excess water.

Step 2

Mix sabudana with potatoes, peanuts, green chillies, ginger, lemon juice, jeera, coriander, and rock salt.

Step 3

Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into patties.

Step 4

Heat some oil and shallow fry or deep fry till the tikkis are crispy.

Step 5

Serve with your favourite chutney and add to your vrat thali.
