Murukku is a traditional South Indian snack that can be made healthier using millet. So, why don’t you make ragi murukku, pair it with your tea or coffee, and enjoy a gluten-free evening snack?
1 cup ragi flour 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon oil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon hing
Knead the dough by mixing ragi flour, salt, cumin seeds, hing, and water.
Once smooth, let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
Heat some oil. Take small portions of the dough and roll them into thin and long ropes.
Press the ropes into a murukku press and deep-fry them till crispy.
Drain extra oil, let them cool, and enjoy.
