If you just can't get enough of those crunchy snacks with a soft, delicious centre, then you have to try these pan-fried rice paper rolls. They are stuffed with spiced paneer and fresh colourful veggies, and are just the right combo of light and satisfying. Perfect for a late-night craving or easy party starter, here is how to make these crispy delicacies.
Rice paper sheets - 8 to 10 sheets Crumbled paneer - 1 cup Carrot - ½ cup Capsicum - ½ cup Cabbage - ½ cup Garlic - 1 tsp Soy sauce - 1 tbsp Black pepper powder - ½ tsp Red chilli flakes - ½ tsp Salt - to taste Oil for pan-frying
Heat a pan and drizzle a bit of oil and sauté that garlic.
Add veggies and stir-fry them on high heat for 2, 3 minutes.
Now add paneer, some soy sauce, a bit of pepper, chilli flakes, and a pinch of salt. Mix it all and then switch off the heat.
Soften rice paper sheets in some water for a few seconds.
Lay the sheet flat on the surface and add in the filling in the middle.
Fold in the sides and then roll them up tight like a spring roll. Do the same with the rest of the sheets and filling.
Heat some more oil in a pan, place the rolls seam-side down and pan-fry on medium heat until they are all golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Serve them hot and enjoy with chilli sauce or a tasty dip.
