The unannounced rains might have delayed your plans, but it for sure has set the mood for pakoras. If you’re craving the crispy fritters too, here’s a step-wise recipe to make palak pakore.
1 bunch fresh spinach 1 cup besan 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste Oil for frying
Rinse and chop spinach. Mix the pieces with besan and all the spices.
Add water to make a smooth batter.
Heat some oil and drop small portions of the batter, and deep fry.
Once crispy, drain the pakoras and serve with your favourite chutney.
