Thin and crispy palak pakore are the perfect snacks to munch on a rainy day paired with a hot cup of chai. In 5 steps, you can make crunchy fritters with the green leafy vegetable and serve them with chutney.
1 bunch fresh spinach 1 cup besan 1/4 cup water 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Oil for frying
Rinse and finely chop a bunch of spinach.
Mix besan, red chilli powder, haldi, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.
Add water and mix till you get a smooth batter. Coat chopped spinach with the batter.
Heat some oil and deep-fry small portions of the spinach mixture.
Once golden brown, take the palak pakore out, drain excess oil, and serve.
