Indulging in crispy moong dal kachori during breakfast or snack time with a hot cup of tea on the side is the definition of a delicious desi pairing. However, instead of buying kachori from the store, you can make them at home.
2 cups maida Salt to taste Oil for frying 4 tbsp oil ½ cup moong dal 2 tbsp coriander leaves 2 green chillies ¼ tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander, saunf powder A pinch of hing ½ tsp ginger powder ¼ tsp garam masala 1 tsp cumin seeds
Sprinkle salt over the maida and knead it into a soft dough using water.
Soak moong dal for 2 hours and grind it into a coarse paste.
Mix moong dal with coriander leaves and powdered spices.
Add oil to a kadhai and let it heat.
Stuff small dough balls with moong dal mixture.
Roll the kachori and fry them until they are golden and crispy.
