Chicken samosa is a crispy and flavourful snack, filled with spiced minced chicken with some herbs and spices. It’s a perfect teatime snack, enjoyed with imli ki chutney or ketchup.
For Filling: 250g minced chicken 1 tbsp oil 1 chopped onion 2 minced cloves garlic 1 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garam masala ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander Salt to taste For Dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour 4 tbsp oil or ghee ½ tsp salt Water as needed For Assembly: 2 tbsp flour + water (sealing) Oil for deep frying
Cook the chicken with onion, garlic, spices and let it cool.
Make a dough by mixing flour, salt, oil, then knead it with water and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Roll the dough, fill it with the chicken mixture and seal.
Fry in hot oil until it turns golden.
Serve with chutney or ketchup!
