To get over the afternoon slump, having a cup of tea with a crunchy snack in the evening is non-negotiable. To have a crispy and healthy snack, why don’t you make beetroot cutlets?
2 beetroots 1/2 cup peas 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon jeera 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon besan Oil for frying
Boil beetroots and peas. Mash them together.
Chop onion, green chilli and ginger and mix with mashed vegetables.
Mix in besan, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into kebabs.
Heat some oil and half-fry the beetroot kebabs till crispy. Serve hot with chutney.
