When blended with chilled milk, it creates a silky, naturally sweet beverage that is perfect for a quick, nutrient-dense breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up.
1 cup ripe papaya, peeled and cubed 1 cup chilled milk (dairy or plant-based) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or a pinch of cardamom 1-2 dates for natural sweetness A few ice cubes
Place the ripe papaya cubes and dates into a blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour in the chilled milk and your choice of vanilla or cardamom, then blend on high speed until frothy and creamy.
Taste for sweetness; very ripe papayas usually don't require much extra sugar.
