Sweet layers, creamy custard, crunchy nuts, and syrup-soaked textures make this Egyptian-style Koshari dessert feel rich without being overly heavy. Every spoonful brings soft pudding, biscuit crunch, and chilled festive flavours together beautifully.
1 cup milk 2 tbsp custard powder 3 tbsp sugar 1 cup whipped cream 1 cup crushed biscuits 2 tbsp chopped nuts 2 tbsp raisins 1 tbsp desiccated coconut 2 tbsp chocolate syrup Cherries or nuts for garnish
Add custard powder to 3 tablespoons of cold milk and mix until completely lump-free.
Heat the remaining milk with sugar on medium flame, then slowly pour in the custard mixture while stirring continuously till thick and glossy.
Take serving glasses and create the first layer using crushed biscuits, followed by warm custard, whipped cream, nuts, raisins, and coconut.
Repeat the layers once again, then drizzle chocolate syrup generously over the top for extra richness
Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour so the layers can set properly before garnishing and serving chilled
