These delicate edamame dumplings blend creamy edamame filling with soft wonton wrappers for a light yet satisfying bite. Perfect as an appetiser, they offer a subtle Asian flavour profile with freshness, richness, and a comforting, restaurant-style finish.
For Filling & Dumplings 1 cup boiled and shelled edamame 2 tbsp cream cheese 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp chopped ginger 1 tsp chopped garlic 12 pieces wonton wrappers For Sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp chilli oil
Blend edamame, cream cheese, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic into a smooth, thick paste.
Place a teaspoon of filling in each wonton wrapper and seal the edges with water.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and gently drop dumplings in.
Cook 3-4 minutes until wrappers become translucent and dumplings float.
Mix soy sauce, vinegar, and chilli oil; pour over dumplings and serve warm.
