This Belgian chocolate shake has deep cocoa flavour and cafe-style richness. Made with real chocolate and ice cream, it feels rich in every sip.
2 cups chilled full-cream milk 3 tbsp Belgian dark chocolate, chopped 2 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 tbsp chocolate syrup 1 tsp cocoa powder Ice cubes, as required Chocolate shavings, for garnish
In a pan, heat some milk and add the chopped Belgian dark chocolate to it. Stir gently until it melts, making a smooth chocolate base.
Let the chocolate milk cool down a bit, then pour it into a blender and blend the shake smoothly.
From the top, add the vanilla ice cream, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup to make it more luxurious and give the shake that lush texture.
Add in a few ice cubes and blend the shake on high for about 10–20 seconds until it appears frothy and silky.
Taste and adjust the sweetness or chocolate depth, if needed, by adding more syrup or cocoa, then blend again.
Pour chilled into glasses, garnish with chocolate shavings, and serve instantly.
