As mercury is rising gradually, it is time to indulge in refreshing beverages to keep your body hydrated. Nothing tastes better than a glass of creamy Punjabi lassi. Here is your guide to making these regional beverages.
1 cup curd 2 tbsp almonds 2 tbsp pistachios 2 tbsp sugar 1 ajneer ½ tsp saffron
Blend curd in a grinder. You can add a small amount of water or milk to adjust the consistency.
Add dry fruits to the processor. Grind them with curd.
Add sugar and blend until the granules disappear.
Once everything is blended, pour the ingredients into a glass.
Add chopped nuts on the top and a few saffron strands.
Enjoy the lassi with parathas and snacks on the side.
