Gooey brownies that are often times bought from commercial bakeries can tend to be a bit dry when they are made eggless. Bake a batch of these chocolate-loaded treats to enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle of chocolate syrup.
1 + ½ cups dark chocolate chips ½ cup butter 1 cup sugar ½ cup all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 cup Greek yoghurt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 pinch salt
Preheat the oven to 180°C while greasing a square baking tin with butter and dusting it with flour.
Melt the butter and one cup of dark chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat and cool completely.
Whisk together the sugar and Greek yoghurt; mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt separately.
Add the dry mixture to the sugar mixture, followed by the melted chocolate and fold together gently.
Tip in the remaining chocolate chips and transfer the batter to the baking tin.
Bake for 30 minutes if the brownies need to be slightly undercooked and 35 if one prefers fully cooked.
Cool completely before unmoulding and cutting them into equal portions.
