The Aperol Spritz is known for its bright citrus notes and refreshing fizz, often enjoyed as a summer aperitif. This home-style version recreates a similar flavour using pantry ingredients, making it easy to prepare without specialised liqueurs. It keeps the same light, slightly bitter and bubbly profile that makes the original so popular in warm weather.
60 ml prosecco or sparkling wine 30 ml vodka or gin 30 ml orange juice 30 ml soda water 1–2 tablespoons tonic water Orange slices Ice
Fill a wine glass with ice and pour in prosecco and vodka or gin.
Add orange juice, soda water and a splash of tonic for bitterness.
Stir gently to combine without losing carbonation.
Garnish with orange slices and serve immediately.
