Craving Aloo Samosa? Step-By-Step Guide To Make It At Home

Aloo samosa is among the most popular Indian snacks consumed across the country in the evening. It not only complements tea but can be transformed into other more fulfilling dishes like samosa chaat, bun samosa, and samosa sandwich.

Ingredients

2 cups maida Salt to taste Oil for frying 5-6 boiled potatoes 2 chopped green chillies 2 tsp coriander powder 1 cup boiled peas 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala 1 tsp mango powder

Step 1

Sprinkle salt over maida and knead the flour into a soft dough. Keep it aside to rest.

Step 2

Peel the skin of potatoes and mash them with your hands in a bowl.

Step 3

Add boiled peas and spices to potatoes and mix the ingredients.

Step 4

The potato mixture should be hefty with chunks so you can stuff it into triangles made with maida dough.

Step 5

Seal the edges tightly with maida slurry so samosas don’t open while frying.

Step 6

Deep-fry samosas in hot oil until the crust is crispy and cooked to perfection.
