Pyaaz pakoras and aloo bhajiyas are among the most popular fritters you can spot being made in Indian households. But it’s time for a twist. How about corn bhajiyas? These crunchy snacks are the best tea-time partners.
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1.5 cups sweet corn 3-4 tbsp rice flour ½ tsp garam masala, cumin 1 sprig of curry leaves 1 onion 2-3 tbsp rice flour, besan ⅛ tsp turmeric powder Oil for frying ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 2 green chillies
Boil the corn and grind it into a coarse blend.
Mix them with sliced onion, rice flour, besan, and green chillies.
Add aromatics and spices, and mix the ingredients to form a sticky blend.
Drop small balls of this mixture into hot oil.
Deep-fry the corn bhajiyas until they are brown and crispy.
