Comforting Palak Paneer Recipe To Make You Feel Like Home

Palak paneer is one of the best ways mothers bribe picky eaters into eating spinach. If you’re looking for a comforting and nutritious recipe, here’s how you can make palak paneer just like your mom.

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh spinach 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic 1-inch piece ginger 1 tomato, chopped 1 green chilli 1/4 teaspoon haldi 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1 tablespoon ghee Salt to taste 200g paneer Fresh cream for garnishing

Step 1

Heat some ghee and add chopped onion. Sauté till translucent.

Step 2

Add minced ginger and garlic. Stir in chopped tomatoes and green chilli.

Step 3

Mix in all the spices and cook till the tomatoes are soft.

Step 4

Add the spinach and cook till it wilts. Let the mixture cool and blend till smooth.

Step 5

Heat some oil and add shallow-fried paneer cubes. Transfer to the spinach puree.

Step 6

Let the sabzi cook and season with salt. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
