This modern, plant-based coffee beverage creates a gorgeous layered effect, where a dense, naturally sweet tropical cream gently floats on top of chilled, dark espresso. It is a refreshing, luxurious iced drink that offers a beautiful play of temperatures and textures without a drop of dairy.
1 double shot of espresso  1/2 cup chilled coconut cream  1 tbsp maple syrup or vanilla syrup  1/2 cup milk of your choice  Ice cubes
Pour the chilled coconut cream and maple syrup into a small bowl and whip using an electric milk frother or hand whisk until it becomes light, airy, and holds soft peaks.
Fill a tall serving glass generously with ice cubes and pour in the base milk, leaving enough room at the top for the layers.
