Tiramisu, a popular Italian dessert, is often translated as a ‘pick me up’ dish. Rich in coffee-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone, sugar, and cocoa powder, the classic one is all about indulgence. But there are other varieties as well. Here are a few types of Tiramisu to explore.
The traditional one is all about espresso-soaked ladyfingers, layered with a creamy whipped mixture of mascarpone cheese, eggs, and sugar, with cocoa dusting on top.
This eggless variation skips the use of raw eggs. It uses extra whipped cream with mascarpone to maintain the signature light and fluffy texture.
Lemon Tiramisu brings in a refreshing, zesty, and caffeine-free twist to the classic tiramisu recipe. It features lemon curd and lemon zest along with the mascarpone.
This one is all about the creamy comfort and white chocolatey decadence paired with the sweet-tart flavour profile of raspberry.
This cocktail-inspired version is all about an intensified coffee flavour with some extra coffee liqueur paired with the creaminess of mascarpone, eggs, sugar, and cocoa dust.
