Creamy rice slowly releases starch into a rich, buttery base, carrying stock depth and gentle umami. Every spoonful feels smooth, layered, and warm, with a soft richness that lingers without feeling heavy.
1 cup arborio rice 1 cup sliced mushrooms 4 cups vegetable stock 2 tbsp butter 2 minced garlic cloves ¼ cup parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste
Melt the butter and sauté the garlic until it releases its aroma into the pan.
Add rice and toast it until the grains turn slightly translucent at the edges.
Pour warm stock gradually, stirring constantly so it absorbs slowly.
Cook until rice becomes soft, creamy, and thick in texture.
Finish with butter and cheese for a smooth, rich consistency, then serve warm
