Chilli paneer is a much-loved dish that combines crisp paneer cubes with a spicy and tangy sauce. It works well as a starter, snack, or even with fried rice and noodles.
250g paneer (cubed) 2 tbsp cornflour 1 tbsp plain flour 1 onion (cubed) 1 capsicum (cubed) 2 green chillies (sliced) 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp red chilli sauce 1 tsp vinegar 2 tbsp oil Salt and pepper to taste Spring onion greens for garnish
Coat paneer cubes with cornflour, plain flour, salt, and pepper. Shallow fry until golden.
In a pan, heat oil, sauté onion, capsicum, and green chillies.
Add soy sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce, and vinegar, mix well.
Toss in fried paneer cubes and coat with the sauce.
Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
