Chana chaat is the ultimate breakfast dish for people who are always in a hurry to get to the office. It is loaded with protein and carbohydrates to keep you full until lunch and energise you in the morning. Check out the recipe.
2 cups boiled chana 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 chopped tomato 1 chopped onion 1 tbsp coriander leaves 2 tbsp pomegranate 1 boiled potato 1 tsp chaat masala Salt to taste 1 chopped green chilli 2 tbsp sev 1 tbsp green chutney
Take out the soaked chana in a bowl and let it come to room temperature.
Chop all the vegetables and toss them with chana.
Add lemon juice and chaat masala powder. Taste the chaat and sprinkle salt accordingly.
Add a dollop of green chutney and give everything a mix.
Garnish the chaat with pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves.
Enjoy it with a glass of fresh juice or coffee.
