Silky white marinade hugs tender chicken pieces, releasing smoky, buttery flavours with every bite. Inspired by Mughlai kitchens, this Afghani chicken balances gentle spice and creamy richness, making it perfect for indulgent dinners or party platters.

Ingredients

500 g boneless chicken ½ cup hung curd ¼ cup fresh cream 2 tbsp cashew paste 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp butter Salt to taste

Step 1

Mix hung curd, cream, cashew paste, ginger garlic paste, spices, lemon juice, and salt.

Step 2

Coat chicken well and marinate for at least 1 hour.

Step 3

Heat butter in a heavy pan or grill.

Step 4

Cook chicken on medium heat, turning till lightly charred and juicy.

Step 5

Rest for a minute and serve hot with naan or salad.
