Ghee coffee is made by blending clarified butter into hot black coffee. When blended properly, the fat emulsifies instead of floating on top, giving the drink a smooth, creamy texture. It is usually consumed without sugar and meant to feel sustaining rather than stimulating.
2 tbsp freshly ground coffee powder (medium-fine grind) 1 cup water 1 tsp pure cow ghee Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom powder
Brew strong black coffee using a filter or drip method.
Add ghee while the coffee is still hot.
Blend using a hand blender or mixer until fully emulsified and frothy. Drink immediately.
