Parathas are the quintessential Punjabi classics that are now a staple of everyone’s breakfast spread. To give the paratha a nutritional twist, add broccoli to the flatbread. Follow this step-wise guide.
1.5 cups atta 1/4 teaspoon salt 1-2 teaspoons oil 1/4 cup water 1 cup broccoli 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Mix atta, salt, and oil. Add water and knead a smooth dough. Let it rest.
Heat some oil and saute the grated broccoli. Add all the spices to the filling.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a circle.
Place a spoonful of filling in the centre, fold, and roll.
Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides. Serve with butter and achaar.
