Parathas are Punjabi classics that are now part of everyone’s breakfast spread. While traditionally parathas usually have a filling of aloo or paneer, you can make them healthier with broccoli.
1.5 cups whole wheat flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1-2 teaspoons oil 1/4 cup water 1 cup broccoli 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Mix atta, salt, and oil. Add water and knead a smooth dough. Let it rest.
Heat some oil and saute the grated broccoli.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, and salt to make the filling.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into circles.
Place a spoonful of filling in the centre and fold the paratha.
Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides. Serve with butter and achaar.
