Mango milkshake can become even more fulfilling when it is blended with a handful of almonds. This Mango Almond milkshake is creamy and filled with nutrients, making it a refreshing drink that kids will happily gulp down without making any fuss.
2 cups ripe mango cubes 2 cups chilled milk 12 almonds, soaked and peeled 1 tbsp honey (optional) 4-5 ice cubes ¼ tsp cardamom powder 1 tbsp chopped almonds, for garnish
Soak almonds overnight and then peel them. Almond gives the milkshake a smooth and creamy texture.
For the milkshake, go for sweet ripe mangoes. If the mangoes are sweet naturally, you will have to use less added sugar on top.
In a blender, add chopped mango, soaked almonds, cold milk, and cardamom powder and blend to get a smooth and creamy consistency.
In case the milkshake feels a bit too thick, add a little more milk and blend again for a while.
To this, now add ice cubes and blend it again so that the milkshake gets a frothy texture that kids adore.
Pour the prepared milkshake into the glass and sprinkle the chopped almonds on top, if your kids like it that way, and serve it instantly.
