Dark, aromatic and beautifully intense, this black coffee recipe celebrates pure coffee flavour without milk or sugar. Perfect for slow mornings or pre-work focus, it’s simple, sharp, and deeply energising in every sip.
1 cup water 1 tbsp freshly ground coffee powder 1 pinch cinnamon powder (optional)
Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan or kettle.
Add coffee powder to a mug or French press.
Pour the hot water slowly over the coffee grounds.
Let it steep for 3-4 minutes, depending on strength preference.
Strain if needed, add cinnamon if using, and enjoy immediately.
